This is Salamina the largest island in the Saronic Gulf. In the summer is every Wednesday from Epidavros a boat to Aegina and there remain a few hours in port. You can use this time to enter the port to continue to Aegina. You will, however, enough time for the bus to the main attraction of the island, namely the Temple of Aphaia. This temple, together with the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens and the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, the extreme tip of the peninsula of Attica, a nearly equilateral triangle. On the outward or return you can get off to visit the monastery of Nektarios. At around 14.00 pm leaving the boat again and take you to the Corinth Canal and sails you back and forth through the channel. It is an experience between the high walls of the channel by sailing.
 
Spetses Print E-mail
The island of Spetses is worth a visit. You can come by boat from the village Kostas on the southernmost tip of the Peloponnese. On Spetses drive cars but not motorcycles. The island played an important role during the freedom struggle against the Turks in 1821. The guns are still out on the port where you arrive by boat.

Poros and Methana peninsula Print E-mail
On the road from Poros Epidavros direction you can visit various interesting places. The first road through the interior of Argolida and runs through the villages Koliaki and Traxia, famous for its cheese production. It is busy with the completion of the coastal road, which is the distance to Poros with half hour short. If you have some time along the coastal drive, you langde branch to Methana.

This unique island you can reach different ways: via Poros, Ermioni and Spetses. It is prohibited for motorized traffic, everything is still with horses and donkeys. There are many artists on the island and there is a department of art and a commercial school established. Hydra has an important role in the freedom struggle against the Turks and was once a major trading post. Around the town you will see a rather barren landscape. If you keep walking, you can visit the monastery that is located at 500 meters and possibly even climb to the highest point of the island
